Registering With Energise Oz
Why are you registering with Energise?
To increase completion rates in the electrical trade sector a program has been developed to provide additional resources to help Apprentices to complete their apprenticeship.
The Managing Apprentice Progression (MAP) pilot program is being conducted by E-Oz on behalf of a consortium of industry partners including;
- National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA)
- Master Electricians Australia (MEA)
- Electrical Trades Union (ETU)
Energy Skills Australia (E-OZ) is the body that develops the training packages for the Electrotechnology, Communications and Energy Utilities industries in Australia.
Students will be provided (Free of charge) with blended learning training and assessment resources that allow different students to progress at different rates. The knowledge and skills components of this assessment will be nationally consistent, to ensure every apprentice in the country is performing to the same standard.
To begin with you need to register with this program, you need to:
- Contact Ted Wilkens the Mentor Advisor for the Southern NSW Region on Mobile 0439 991 181.
- Go online and complete the Readiness Assessment registration
- Print off the consent form and fill it in prior to sitting the readiness assessment
- To assist you in preperation for this assessment there are some additional Maths resorces provided
After this, a day will be organised for you to sit the Readiness Assessment.
